Houston is Two!!!

Houston Howard Wilson was born two years ago on Valentine's Day.  He is the best Valentine I have ever gotten.

Some things about Houston:
I can now understand about 50% of what he says
He is a quick learner.
He can do some sign language
He has slept in a big boy bed before he was a year and a half
He loves to color!  (especially the walls)
He is addicted to his binky
He is a climber! He climbs on everything. (couches, counters, chairs, stools, etc)
He runs around and copies his brother.
He is a problem solver.  If he wants to get out of his high chair, he finds a way.

He loves his jerseys.  If you take them off, he brings them to you to put them back on.
He is a snuggler!
He is a tough boy.  He hardly ever cries when he gets hurt
He has a cute little gap in between his front teeth
He is a fast runner.  He likes to run away from us. (we call him the gingerbread man)
He loves music.  He sings and dances, sometimes, I even know what song he is singing.
He adores his little sister!  He will find her binky, and go give it to her.
He gets on the floor and does tummy time with his sister.
He loves chocolate!  Any chance he get's he will try to get the chocolate.

Houston loves sports!  He will shoot hoops, or kick around a soccer ball for hours.

He loves to jump on the trampoline.
He is learning how to ride a scooter
He loves to wrestle with his dad and brother.
He loves to read books.
He loves to wear hats.  He will wear a snow hat all day.

Houston is a very loud kid.  I never had to use the baby monitor with him.

We love our little Houston so much!  We are so grateful to have him in our family.  Happy Birthday Houston!!  I can't wait to see what the next year brings.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

This year for Valentine's Day Jeff gave me a riddle as shown above.  After a little confusion, I was able to guess that Jeff is taking me to go see MUSE!!  I love their music, and I'm so excited to go!  What a good husband I have.
Jeff, you are the best husband a girl could have!  You are my best friend and partner in crime (no real crime was committed)  Happy Valentine's Day Jeffy!!

Houston and the Basketball

We have a big basketball toy box.  It was Jeff's when he was a little boy.  When we first got it, Hunter would crawl in it all the time.  Houston has just recently discovered that he can play in it.

Happy Birthday Dad!!

This year we had my Dad's birthday party at my house.  Here is a picture of the birthday boy and his birthday cake.
Jeff, Mom, and Houston in the kitchen.  Houston was very interested in getting the cake ready.

I hope that you had a great birthday Dad!  We sure love you, and are glad that we can be in your family!

Harley at Six Months

My little girl is finally six months old.  The time as just flown!  She is growing and becoming her own person more and more everyday.  Somethings about Harley:

She is in the 30% for her weight
She is in the 50% for her height (that's tall for one of my kids)
She has to get leg exercise because she is not getting enough (she's my lap baby)
She get's excited and wiggly when she see's her brothers
She loves to clap!  We will start clapping, and she will start clapping with us
Her favorite sound is the raspberry.  She does it all the time.
She doesn't want to eat her solid foods.  It always squirts out the sides of her mouth.
When she does want to eat, she eats like a little kitty.  She sticks her little tongue out.
Harley loves to roll over.  She rolls around the room all the time.
Puts her binky in her mouth, and takes it out when she wants.
She can sit up by herself. (with a boppy behind her)

She is such a joy to have in our family!  When she smiles, she really lights up the room.  We feel so blessed to have this little miracle in our lives!

Erin's Visit

A few months ago, one of my best friends, Erin, moved to Hawaii.  Not that I can blame her, I kind of wish that I was living in Hawaii right now.  Lucky for me, she came for a visit.  She even stayed at my house for a couple of days.  It was lots of fun!  We had girls night, did hair, and she even taught me the beginning steps of knitting.
Before she left, we thought it would be fun to do a small photo shoot.

Love ya Erin!  Thanks for coming.  I can't wait for the next visit!!

Getting Bigger

My little Miss is growing so fast.  This is her in her new hop n pop.  The Doctor told us that she really needs to work out her legs.  Up to this point Harley has been a lap baby.  Hopefully this will inspire her to stand up once in a while.
