Day Three

Day Three found us at California Adventure!  This was the first time that Jeff and I had ever been there.  It was so fun, doing something new!
California Adventure has more then just rides.  We went to a show that had Crush the turtle from Finding Nemo.  It was an animated show, but the kids could ask him questions, and he would respond.  It was really cool!  Here is Jeff and Houston waiting for the show to start.

After we did the Talking with Crush, we headed for the Tower of Terror!  We got right on the ride.  Hunter was really excited for this ride, and had been waiting to go on it.  He did great!  After the ride, he could have gone again, but decided against it.  Instead he checked out the gift shop they had at the exit.  He looks pretty good as a Mad Hatter!

Harley and Keith on the Caterpillar ride.  She loved it!

We then decided to go ride Screamin California.  It is an awesome roller coaster, with loops, drops, and high speeds.  To top it all off, they had music playing to go along with your ride.  Unfortunately this was one ride, that Hunter was not tall enough to ride.  Lucky for us, they had a Carousel at the exit of the coaster.  This was one of Harley's and Houston's favorite!
Jeff and Keith decided to go ride a "Rocket" type ride, that shot you up in the air, and then dropped you.  Hunter was too short for that ride too, so we went on a smaller tammer ride, the Jellyfish.  Unlucky for us, the ride broke while we were on it!!  Hunter and I were stuck up in the air, for a good 15-20 minutes!
After we finally got down, they gave us a pass for six people to get right on any ride in California Adventure, or Disneyland.

One of the things that Hunter liked most, was getting to meet Mater and Lightning McQueen!  Houston and Harley thought it was pretty cool too.

While we were waiting for dinner, they were having a little dance party outside.  Hunter thought it would be a good time to show off all his moves!
Houston wanted to dance too, but he mostly just ended up running around with a big smile on his face.
We ate at a place called The Rain forest Cafe (I think).  The kids loved it, because every so often, it sounded like their was a big rain storm!  This was Hunter's and Houston's reaction.
That night Harley did not want her picture taken.  Every time she would put her hand on her face, or turn away.  Here is a shy Harley, and Debbie.
We were on vacation during Jeff's birthday, so every time we ate at a restaurant, Debbie and I would make sure to tell them that it was his birthday.  Here is Jeff really surprised!
After dinner, we went back to Disneyland to try to use the free pass we got earlier that day.  So we went on the Matterhorn, got right on the ride!  The girl who got us on, told us to keep the pass and use it on another ride!  After that we went on It's a Small World, trying to use the pass.  Well we got right on, and didn't have to wait at all.  Then we tried the Haunter Mansion.  Guess what?  We got right on.  After that we went back to the hotel.  We just couldn't get rid of the pass that night.
