In Hunter's class this year, every child has a hero day. This is the child's spot light day. The parents bring in a poster that tells about their child. We also brought in one of Hunter's favorite books, to read to the class. (There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Bat) Hunter got to pick a favorite toy to show to the class. (His Lightning Mcqueen pillow toy) We also brought treats for the whole class.
After we did the presentation, the class sang a song about Hunter being an everyday hero. They then lined up into two lines, and Hunter ran down the middle of the lines giving all the kids high fives. It was too cute.
